Growing from Seed in Late Summer
Saturday August 8th 2026
2pm

It is a common misconception that seeds are always sown in the spring but, many perennials, annuals and biennials can be grown very successfully from a late summer or autumn sowing.
This hands on work shop, to be held at the nursery, will tell you everything you need to know about saving, storing, sowing and, most importantly of all, how to deal with seedlings once they germinate.
Everyone gets to have a go and take their experiments home with them afterwards.
Workshop starts at 2pm and will last be approximately 2 hours.
Places will be very limited to allow everyone to get the best from the lesson so early booking is essential.
Cost is £36.00, including materials
Limited to 12 places, early booking advised
