Large, sprawling mounds are smothered for several months from June onwards with deep purple mauve flowers. Needs some space otherwise it can smother neighbouring plants 60cm high x 1.2 mtres wide but is the plant to go to if you want to count how many different types of bumble bee are visiting the nursery on any given day.
