Upright clumps to 1.5 metres where top third of each stem becomes a spire of paleish pink flowers open from contrasting deep pink buds on bright pink tinted stems from June-August. Following seed pods are also bright pink but if heads are cut off once finished, a secondary, bushier flush of flower will follow.
