''What the Books Don't Tell You''(part I) Friday April 27th

Text books great at telling us whether a particular plant likes sun or shade, what height it will grow to and how to propagate it.

What they don't say and what you, our customers, really want and need to know is when and how to cut it down, dead head it, stake it, lift and divide it, etc, etc, etc!

In the first of 2 lectures on border maintenance, we take a look at what needs doing to who in early summer, so that you get the very best possible display from your plants. Feel free to ask your own questions and dress appropriately for the weather

10.30am-12noon  Cost £6.50

Perfect Planting''   Wednesday 22nd August

Perfect Planting is a day for people who love plants but don't know where to start when grouping them together in the garden

Plants should be the stars of the show in any garden but it is all too easy end up with a garden full of impulse buys, which can present itself as a 'bitty' plant collection rather than a well thought out design.

Join us for Perfect Planting and spend a day learning how to combine plants colour, shape and texture, repetition and balance, as well as their cultural requirements.

Perfect Planting is aimed at those who would like to either create new planting schemes in a garden or who wish to revitalise existing borders

Cost of day, including refreshment upon arrival and light lunch £75.00. Phone or email us for a full itinerary of the day. Places will be VERY limited
